ZOOLOGY.-German, end of the 18th century. Lot of 44 sheets. With images mostly of apes (4 of bats). Engravings with original colour on handmade paper, 61.5 x 44 cm (sheet size). Each entitled in Latin and German on lower plate edge. - of the 44 plates, 8 are duplicate.
Deutsch, Ende 18. Jh.. Lot von 44 Bll. mit Darstellungen überwiegend von Affen, (darunter 4 Bll. mit Darstellungen von Fledermäusen). Altkol. Kupferstiche auf Bütten, 61,5 x 44 cm (Blattgrösse). Jeweils im unteren Plattenrand in lateinischer und deutscher Sprache betitelt. - Von den 44 Tafeln sind insgesamt 8 Darstellungen doppelt vorhanden.
