A WELL GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF HAYAGRIVA. Tibeto-chinese, 18th c. Height 16 cm.

Bronze mit schöner Feuervergoldung. Die Schutzgottheit steht mit erhobenem Schwert im Ausfallschritt nach links. Ein Tigerfell ist um die Hüfte geschlungen, der für ihn typische Pferdekopf schaut aus dem rot gefassten Flammenhaar.
