Black-figured ceramics. Side A: Athena as a charioteer with a quadriga (1 white and 3 black horses), Hercules as a warrior with a club, led by Hermes the messenger of the gods. The top with an elegant palmette and pearl frieze. Side B: Warrior in full regalia with shield and lance, flanked on the left by a youth and an old man, flanked on the right by a female figure and two other men. The top with decorative frieze. At the bottom of the base, probably a later, notched monogram.

"COCONUT" TANKARD WITH SILVER-GILT MOUNT

Probably Switzerland (Sion), 16th century.
Round base on three flat feet in the shape of angel heads. Cuppa made of an unfinished coconut set with three flat, ornamented clasps. High lip rim engraved with foliage. S-shaped handle with the same decoration, a female fish as a thumb rest. The lid also made of coconut set with clasps with a central, flat finial. Engraved coat of arms, initials F+P and the year [15]86, presumably the coat of arms of a tailors' guild.

TURRET CLOCK WITH SMALL BACK PENDULUM

South German, probably Augsburg, ca. 1600.
Architectural case in bronze and copper, with engraved, punched and chased decoration and gilt. On a rectangular, stepped and profiled base decorated with angel heads, scrolls and fruit. Openwork, temple-shaped belfry with balustrades and a figure on top. Removable side panels with arabesques, the corners decorated with pilasters. Front with silvered chapter ring, Roman hours and Arabic minutes. The back with two superimposed subsidiary dials for the striking mechanism. Movement with pillar construction, going and striking train arranged one behind the other. Movement with verge escapement, original wheel balance converted to rear pendulum (pendulum incomplete). Quarter hour striking train on two bells. Alarm mechanism removed.

OVAL IVORY PLAQUE “APHRODITE AND APOLLO”

Baroque, Flemish work, late 17th century, circle of Francis Van Bossuit (1635-1692).
Ivory carved in high relief. Depiction of Aphrodite and Apollo in a bedstead with rich drapery and a curtain with a flying cupid. Fixed on a wooden support and in a later, octagonal wooden frame. Verso with various annotations, barely legible customs stamp “F-M 25. Av. Grande A... XVII”, one label inscribed F.E.M.
Without frame H 11.3 cm, W 16 cm.
