Wood painted with colorful flowers on a red ground and gilt bronze. Curved case, glazed on three sides and painted on the inside, the top in the shape of a branch, with scrolled feet, on a later plinth. "Treize-pièces" enamel dial with Roman numerals for hours and Arabic numerals for minutes. Two fine hands. Movement with verge escapement with 1/2 hour strike on bell.

On top is an armillary sphere with the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth (with moon), Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, which revolve around the sun. Outer circles indicate the signs of the zodiac and the months. On a wooden base and with a glass cloche.
