Cylindrical tankard with smooth walls and a profiled edge on the bottom and at the top of the tankard. Stepped, slightly convex lid with a broad rim. Handle decorated with a sculpted leaf. Thumb rest decorated with scrolls. Incised mark on the bottom: 29 ows. 12 dwts.

Germany, 19th/20th century. Bruckmann & Sons Manufactory. With merchant's mark Antal Bachruch.
The inside gilt. Solid foot with circumferential decorative bands, the largest band with chased mascarons alternated with fruits and blossoms. Upper third of the cuppa decorated with egg-and-dart bands. The lid similarly decorated, and with a small spherical finial. Punched serial number: 11322.
