- Collection A. Branca, Ticino (according to Galleria Serodine).
- Galleria Serodine, Ascona, 2009.
Clay statuettes from the eponymous Greek city of Tanagra first became known during excavations in 1873. They are characterized by figures of girls and women, mostly draped in flowing robes, ranging in size from 15-35 cm, which were made in large numbers from the 6th to the middle of the 1st century B.C. Tanagra figurines had a devotional character as funerary offerings or lucky charms.
