Glazed white, painted blue. With a graphic design of an old account book, titled "baralla nova”.
13.6 × 13.6 cm.
Comparable types of tiles come from a floor of the destroyed palace of the Centelles family in Nules. The account book and the inscription refer to an old Valencian proverb. Contes vells, "baralla nova" (Anthony Ray, Spanish Pottery 1248-1898, London 2000, p. 318, Ill. 624).
