Series of 6 views from the early 19th century. Comprising: 1. Campo Santo in Pisa; 2. Pantheon in Rome; 3. The Grave of Cecilia Metella; 4. The Cestius Pyramid in Rome; 5. The Mausoleum of the Plautii in Rome 6. Roman Triumphal Arch or Portal in a mountain landscape.
Outline etchings, brown and gray wash, and black and gray wash. The framing lines in black pen. In part with blue water-colored margins, the corners in part decorated with depictions of butterflies.
Each ca. 13 x 18.5 and 19 cm. Two and four views, each in identical frames.
