Designed as a lily, the bud set with 1 brilliant-cut diamond of ca. 0.50 ct, with polished and textured leaf and stem. Signed Torrini, sketch by Brigitte Adolph. L ca. 10,3 cm.

The brooch was nominated as one of the top ten works of the „Young Jewellery Designer awards“, at the Basel World Fair in 2000.
Christie’s auctioned the ten winning objects at its November Jewellery sale and the proceeds were donated to the Global Harmony Foundation (GHF), a charity headed by Sir Peter Ustinov to assist underprivileged children and women worldwide.
