ROMAN MUMMY MASK OF A WOMAN,
Egypt, Roman Empire, 2nd century A.D.
Finely painted stucco. Idealized head of a woman, with wavy hair and fine, almond-shaped glass eyes. Front of the bust, missing and broken off at the base of the neck.
H 22 cm.
