Zürich, J. Wolff, 1606. Folio. [6], [24], DCCLXX leaves. Contemporary binding of blind-tooled pigskin on wooden boards. With 2 center-bosses, 6 (out of 8) angle-bosses and 1 (out 2) brass-clasps (a bit stained, with signs of wear and tear).

Haller IV, 396 and BM German 839 - not in Adams. - Third and last edition of one of the most relevant printed Swiss Chronics of the 16th century (printed for the fisrt time in 1548) and comprehensive of fascinating woodcuts realized by Hans Asper, Heinrich Vogtherr, Rudolf und Johann Wyssenbach and others - The pages are overall browned and with dampstains, the maps appear to have little torn-spots (with minimal loss of the image), a couple of torn page-edges where mended unelegantly with white paper underneath, the map of Thurgau has small white additions inside the image-area. - Overall, in good condition. - Provenance: Gustave Louis de Blonay (1830-1900). - Exlibris de Blonay, Grandson.
