Monogrammed in the block on lower margin to the left: AD.
29.5 x 20.9 cm. Framed.
Bartsch 88; Schoch/Mende/ Scherbaum 178; Meder 200 I a (of III f). - A superb, deep black, even and clear early impression with border line. Scattered, barely visible spots of foxing. Attached to backing board by the upper edge and lower centre. Verso with remains of an old mount. Overall in very good condition. - From the collections of Dr Ackermann and Vincent Mayer, who according to Frits Lugt were each famous for the high quality of their Dürer woodcuts.
