A THREE-CASE INRO BY THE KOMA KYUHAKU LINEAGE.
Japan, 19th c. Height 7 cm.
Wide body, decorated in togidashi, iroe hira- and takamakie, kirikane and aogai inlay with a hare and a wolf carrying the paddle to the water with the fishing boats on the other side. At base signed Koma Kyûhaku Yasuaki saku. Iyory manju Netsuke with lacquer decoration of a mother monkey with young, signed. Spherical coral ojime.
