Signed and dated in the plate on lower margin to the left: Rembrandt f. 1639.
39 x 30.7 cm. Framed.
Bartsch 99; Hinterding/Rutgers (New Hollstein) 173 probably IV (of V). - Fine, clearly drawn and even impression, with the border line visible in parts. The upper margin trimmed slightly within the plate edge. Unobtrusive smoothed horizontal fold. Two restored tears in upper margin. Minimal foxing in parts. Light traces of handling and wear. Verso with scattered annotations in pencil and a few remains of old mounts. Overall in good condition.
