IRON CLOCK WITH FRONT PENDULUM
Baroque, probably Italy, 18th century.
Enclosed case, the dial painted with garlands, scrolls and a coat of arms in a cartouche with an angel on either side. The doors painted with saints. Three movements arranged one behind the other: movement with verge escapement and front pendulum, striking mechanism striking the 1/4-hour on two bells. Alarm mechanism removed. Brass weights.
