A SMALL HOUSE ALTAR WITH GILT PLAQUES

Baroque, 17th century.
Blackened wood. Inlaid with chased and relief decorated plaques, the central image depicting The Crucifixion, surrounded by three oval plaques with the Arma Christi, the Adoration of the Magi, as well as the Nativity Scene. Additional plaques with the Christogram IHS flanked by 2 angels, as well as with the Bearing of the Cross. With a relic of Saint Stephen in the plinth. Old collection label '21 25'.
