A total of 48 woodcuts.
All sheets monogrammed in the block, individually dated.
Bound into one book, with vellum binding, circa 1900 with black embossed title on spine (old signature mark on spine). Book size: 59 x 46 cm.

The Life of the Virgin
Series of 20 woodcuts inc title page of Latin text edition from 1511.
Sheet size each ca. 34 x 25 cm, final page with Impressum 39 x 25 cm.
Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum, No 165-185, each from the II. of III. states (text edition 1511); Meder, Nos. 188-207, each II. of III. states (Latin text edition of 1511). - Very fine, mostly strong, clear and even impressions with margin. The title page with title text and text below the image with some closed tears, the lower margin with paper tear and cut to just below the last line of text. Around six of the woodcuts from light to stronger foxing, somewhat browned in parts, with occasional small restorations. Some light handling traces. Mostly good to very good condition.

The Large Passion
Series of 12 woodcuts, inc title page of the Latin text edition from 1511.
Sheet size each ca. 39 x 28 cm.
Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum, Nos. 154-165, each the II. of III. states (text edition 1511); Meder, Nos 113-124, each II. of III. states (Latin text edition of 1511). - Strong, mostly spotless impression with outer line or partly with fine margin around the line. The title page spotted and with occasional tears (or creases) in the margins and with heavier traces of wear. Sheet 3 (Christ on the Mount of Olives) with paper loss on the upper left corner. Individual sheets with discreet spots and light handling traces on the front and back. Occasional small restorations. Mostly good to very good condition.

The Apocalypse

Series of 16 woodcuts including title page of the Latin text edition from 1511.
Sheet size each ca. 39 x 28 cm. The title page 34 x 27 cm.
Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum, Nos. 111–126, each III. of IV. states. (Latin text edition 1511); Meder, Nos. 163–178, each III. of IV. states (Latin text edition 1511).
Individual dark, mostly strong and clear impressions, a few somewhat weaker definition. With outer lines or partly with fine margin around the line. Occasional spots, some discreet browning a few small repairs and traces of wear. Sheet XIV. (Angel with the key to the abyss) with small tear and repairs on the left margin. Overall good to very good condition.
