a) Diptych by Hayashi Motoharu (1858-1903), dated Meiji 25 (1892). The Kabuki actor Ichikawa Sadanji as Rônin Marubashi Chûya in a dramatic pose (mie). Signed: ôju Motoharu and sealed, publisher's seal. b) Triptych by Ochiai (Utagawa) Yoshiiku (1833-1904). Three groups of courtesans, each with two kamuro and an umbrella holder in Shinyoshiwara. Signed: Ikkeisai Yoshiiku ga, publisher: Kagaya Kichiemon (Seiseidô), censor’s seal. c) Nakayama Sugakudo (1815-1898), 1859. Folio No. 5, Finches and Peach Blossoms (Bundori momo no hana) from the Ikiutsushi shijûhachi taka series. Signed: Sûgakudô Shujin, aratame censor’s and date seals, publisher: Tsutaya Kichizô (Kôeidô). (3)

a) - Corners partly kinked, one corner torn off
- The righthand sheet is attached at the upper corners
b) - Stained, colors somewhat faded
- Edges damaged
c) - Fixed at the upper left corner
- Slightly trimmed
