Seated young peasant woman seen from the side towards the left, and further arm and shoulder studies.
Red chalk on laid paper with watermark: dog, full figure with quatrefoil single stem ( Arnhem, circa 1520; Piccard No. 86529).
Monogrammed lower left, probably by a different hand: V.Velde.
23.3 x 19.6 cm. Framed.

- three further unidentified collectors' stamps verso.
