FEMALE DWARF 'WALPER HÖLLRIGLIN',
Vienna, ca. 1744–1749. Model probably by Johann Ludwig Christoph Lück.
After a copper engraving from 1716, ‘Il Callotto resuscitato’: ‘Würthin und Zuchtmutter beim Hünerloch auff der Pastey, in einem verdriesslichen Haussprocess...’ Striding dwarf with both arms raised and holding a torch in her right hand, on a flat base. Impressed coat–of–arms. H 11 cm. Old inventory No. 229 in red. Torch broken.
