This painting is registered at SIK as an autograph work by Johann Gottfried Steffan under number 70573.


The work is overall in good condition. The canvas is unlined and framed. The paint surface shows some fine craquelure in parts, with small points of rubbing in the centre of the sky as well as a few colour losses. There is no retouching visible under UV light.
