Baroque, Berne, 18th century. Probably from the workshop of Mathäus Funk.
Walnut and burlwood inlaid with rectangular reserves and frieze fillets. Rectangular body on a wavy cut-out frame. Curved, hinged writing surface above three curved drawers “en arbalète”. The writing top opening onto six drawers arranged around a central compartment. Bronze mounts ( some later). 2 keys.
