OVAL SUGAR BOWL DECORATED WITH A CLIFF AND A BIRD
Meissen, ca. 1740, the gilding from Augsburg.
Oval sugar bowl with a reclining dog as a finial. Decorated with a cliff and a bird in underglaze blue. Gold decoration from a "Hausmaler" workshop in Augsburg. Underglaze blue sword mark and inscription. Traces of gold signatures on the inside of the rim of the lid.
L 13 cm.
