BEAKER WITH CHINOISERIE DECORATION

Meissen, ca. 1725-28, decorated in the style of J.G. Höroldt.
Tall beaker with elongated quatrefoil gold cartouches with Böttger luster fields with iron-red feathered leaves. Each cartouche features a large figure of a Chinese man at a tea ceremony and gardening amidst shrubs and flying insects and birds. Gold lace border around the rim. Without manufactory mark, gold number 31.
H 8 cm.
