Louis XV style, Paris ca. 1860, both stamped Sormani Paris, one also signed on a plaque Paul Sormani - 10 rue Charlot Paris (Paul Sormani, 1817-1877).
Purpleheart and "bois de bout" inlaid on all sides with flowers and leaves, the front with a heart-shaped central medallion with fan-shaped marquetry. Curved, trapezoidal body on a wavy cut-out frame with curved legs. Front with two sans-traverse drawers. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Shaped 'Brèche d'Alep' marble top. 1 key.
141 × 55 × 90 cm.
Good restored condition, few signs of use. One with the lock removed.
