ROUND TABLE AND SUITE OF FOUR CHAIRS
Probably England, middle of the 19th century.
Dark stained wood, opulently painted. Table: Round leaf on a baluster shaft and three curved legs. The leaf painted with two boys and a girl in a rich floral medallion. The shaft painted with floral reserves framed by gold fillets. Chairs: Upholstered seat on a cut-out frame and curved legs. Oval pierced backrest. Painted with flowers, medallions, decorative friezes and mother-of-pearl inlays.
Table: Ø 103.5 cm, H 70 cm. Chairs: 43 × 40 × 95 cm.
