The Spanish Forger -

A medieval betrothal. Illuminated miniature on vellum in the style of the 15th century in colour and heightened in gold.
Probaby France, circa 1900. 24.8 × 20.8 cm. Richly stamped ornamental frame heightened in gold. Mounted under passepartout, wooden frame, glazed on both sides. (45 × 40 cm).
