FEMALE HEAD WITH VEIL
Roman, 1st century A.D.
White marble carved full round, with sintering. Head of a woman with parted wavy hair and a himation as a headscarf. Probably, originally from a niche figure. On a later marble plinth.
H without plinth 13.5 cm.
Losses and chips, especially on the nose and veil.
