Pair of works: Still lifes with sacks of grain. 1852.

One monogrammed and dated in the centre: FV 1852.
Each 48 × 60 cm.

Condition:
Oil on panel, cradled. Paint surface shows a slight degree of wear in places, with fine vertical hairline cracks. Older retouching visible in places. Colour abrasions along the edges.
Under UV: Retouching along the edges. Some retouchings along the mentioned hairline cracks, on the still life elements and in the background. Varnish fluoresces greenish.
