BUREAU CABINET
Baroque, Berne, ca. 1745, probably by Mathäus Funk (1697-1783) and workshop.
Walnut and plum inlaid in rectangular reserves and broad fillets. Upper section with hinged writing surface over three drawers. On flattened spherical feet. The writing surface opens up into seven drawers and a compartment. Later bronze mounts. Four drawers. Highly restored.
