JARDINIÈRE WITH COVER

Louis XVI, Lenzburg, ca. 1800. Probably by Samuel Hämmerli (1750 - 1820).
Walnut, cherry and burlwood inlaid in rectangular reserves and light / dark fillets. Rectangular body with beveled corners on a straight frame and conical, fluted and slightly slanted legs. The inside with a metal insert. Removable cover, and heart-shaped openings.
36 x 36.5 x 62 cm.

- In a good, restored condition
- Metal insert oxidized
