A HARLEQUIN WITH BAGPIPES

Meissen, mid 18th century.
Sitting with crossed legs on a rock base with applied flowers and leaves, playing the bagpipes, wearing a pointed hat and a doublet painted with playing cards. Underglaze blue sword mark on the back of the base.
H 13 cm.

The bagpipes supplemented and repaired, flowers and leaves partly chipped.
