Probably after HANS FURTENBACH. St. Valentin, St. Stephan and St. Maximilian under a Renaissance arch, with the Fröschl and Passau coats of arms. 1514.

Monogrammed (ligature) in lower left image margin: FH; unten dated and monogrammed lower right (ligature): 1514 WT.

Bartsch 7, p. 452; Nagler (monogramists) vol. V, 900. - According to Nagler first state of II (with the monograms and date). - Strong, predominantly clear impression with an attractive border around the framing lines. Even slight browning and minimal foxing. With small wormhole in the lower margin outside the image. Individual small blemishes in the upper margin. Overall in attractive condition. - Very rare.
