A LARGE ZUSHI WITH SENJU KANNON.
Japan, late Edo period, height 47 cm.
Black lacquer, gilt interior with coloured pigments, metal fittings. The doors on the inner side painted with two Heavenly Kings. Outer side with three inscriptions: Ryûganzan, Yôkokuji, shinjinkô. Minor damages.
Provenance: Old Swiss private collection from Southern Switzerland.
