A FOUR CASE KINJI LACQUER GROUND SHIBAYAMA INRO.

Japan, 19th c. Height 8.7 cm.
The lucky god Jurôjin with deer and pine, the other side with a karako and crane in gold, red and black hira- and takamakie. Signed on base 'Shôkasai', 'Shibayama' in shell inlaid tablet. Ivory netsuke in deer shape and metal ojime. Very minor damage.
