Japan, Meiji period, early 20th c. Ø 40 cm, weight: 4475 g.
Embellished with a chrysanthemum medallion and hibiscus flowers. Marked Samurai Shokai Yokohama on base and an unrecognisable hallmark, probably Sterling. Some signs of usage.
