A WAKIZASHI WITH KOSHIRAE SIGNED KUNITOSHI.
Japan, shintô period (Edo period), length 45.5 cm (blade), 66.8 cm (in total).
Signed blade in shinogizukuri style, toriizori sugata, suguha hamon and itame hada. Koshirae: black lacquered saya with family crests itowa-ni-tsuta mon, tsuba decorated with grasses and flowers, fuchi and kashira additionally with fan. Signed kozuka and kôgai with nicely elaborated meadow flowers. Silk bag. No NBTHK papers. Minor damages.
