AN INRO DEPICTING GREY HERONS AT A LOTUS POND BY KOMA KANSAI.
Japan, 18th/19th. c. Length 6.7 cm.
Four case. Decorated in hira and takamakie and nashiji on black lacquered ground. Signed Kansai saku, in red lacquer sealed Koma (Koma Kansai II, 1767-1835). A bone ojime carved with geese, the stag antler netsuke in snail shape.
