A FINE CENSER.
China, 17th c. Height 8 cm, width (max.) 16.5 cm.
Copper with silver inlays and remains of gilt. Two bronze dragonhead handles. Decorated in a central band in repousse and finely chased with dragons and mythical creatures. Silver inlaid keyfrets on the neck and the footrim. On the bottom a Hu Wenming-mark with nine characters in a gilt square.
铜鎏金香爐。
中國，17世紀。高8釐米，寬（最寬處）16.5釐米。
嵌銀銅胎，遺留少量鎏金痕跡。鑄銅雙龍頭爐耳，爐身紋飾帶紋、龍紋及神獸圖紋。整体精细繁密，爐頸及足圈嵌銀，附鎏金方章胡文明九字印鑒於底部。
