A FINE BRONZE FIGURE OF THE SAKYA MASTER ZHANG KÖNCHOG PÄL (1240-1317). Tibet, 16th c. Height 21 cm. Inscription at base. Commissioned by two persons of Chölung monastery, founded in the 16th century and converted to a Gelug monastery in the mid 17th century.
