This painting is registered at SIK as an autograph work by Wolfgang-Adam Töpffer under number 220322 0007.


The work is overall in good condition and is framed. The paint surface is slightly soiled and somewhat thinner in parts (see ill). Occasional points of retouching are visible under UV light and the varnish fluoresces a strong greenish colour.
