BONE FITTING OF A CASKET “GIRL WITH WREATH”
Italy, 16th century. Embriacchi workshop.
Carved bone. The central motif consists of two girls, one holding a wreath, the other a stick and a stylized flower. The upper end with an open-work tree landscape, the lower end with a platform. On a later plinth covered in red velour.
Without plinth: 4.4 × 10.6 cm.
