SMALL TUREEN

Meissen, second half of the 18th century.
The painting in “Schwarzlot”, with mercantile shipping scenes and Chinese figure on the matching gold cartouches with scrollwork on a Böttger luster ground. The domed lid with foot ring, painted with a circumferential, corresponding harbor scene with a gold lace border around the rim. Indian flower branches in the intermediate spaces and on the top of the lid. Underglaze blue sword mark, gilder's mark V. on both parts.
D 10 cm.
