Japan, dated Meiji 9 (1876), height 15.2 cm.
Iron body with relief decor and bronze lid with floral finial. Made by Katô Chûzaburô, Saikindô workshop. With wooden box, inscribed accordingly and dated.
Provenance: Old private collection from Southern Germany.
