2nd Empire, France, 19th century. The dial is indistinctly signed S...dez à Laon.
Burnished bronze, in part gilt. In the shape of Chronos, supporting the cylindrical clock case and the scythe. On a rectangular, yellow marble base and round feet. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. Parisian movement with half-hour strike on bell.
