Mask worn by two genii. 1544.
Copper engraving.
Monogrammed (ligature) and dated in the plate on lower margin.
4.8 x 7.8 cm.

Pauli 232 II; Bartsch 228. - A superb, strong, richly contrasting and clear impression with a fine margin around the border line. With a thin spot in the paper, only visible when held against the light. Verso some annotations in pencil and with a few remains of an old mount. In fine condition. - Also: Heinrich ALDEGREVER. Ornament with the torso of an armed warrior, in profile to the right and decorated with flowers and tendrils. Copper engraving. 8.2 x 5.6 cm. Engraved monogram and date on lower margin in the centre: AG 1529.
