DEVOTIONAL COLUMN OF HECATE, so-called "hekataion".
Roman, 2nd century A.D.
Marble, worked full-round and with remains of sintering. Depiction of three women wearing the polos crown, each with their backs to a central column, and forming a triplicate of the Goddess Hecate. One figure holding two torches, the other two each holding a torch. On a later base.
H without base 18 cm.
