SMALL BOULLE PENDULE WITH PLINTH
Louis XIV style, France, 19th century.
Wooden case with dark underlaid tortoise shell and inlaid with brass designed as leaves and tendrils. Bronze mounts designed as female heads with feather ornaments and leaves. The top decorated with a putto. Movement with anchor escapement and half-hour strike on bell. Bronze dial with white enamel cartouches.
