BOULLE PENDULE
Régence, France and Neuchâtel , 18th century
Curved case with brown-tinted tortoise shell underlay and gilt bronzes. Inlaid with engraved brass designed as leaf tendrils and flowers. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, signed Le Roy à Paris. Neuchâtel movement, end of the 18th c., with anchor escapement and half-hour strike on bell. Movement plate monogrammed DFDB, and numbered K1 675.
