PUTTO DRESSED AS A PUPPETEER WITH BAGPIPES

Berlin, Wilhelm Caspar Wegely Manufactory, ca. 1751-57.
Wearing a tricorn and playing the bagpipes, and with two dancing puppets on a board at his feet. On a fluted base decorated with rocailles in relief and accentuated in gold. Underglaze blue mark W on the back of the base, incised mark l/90/49.
